The Nigeria Police in conjunction with other security operatives has
 arrested suspected members of the Armed robbery gang that invaded the First Bank branch in Mpape, Abuja on Saturday.

The robbers were held in the bank premises for lengthy hours today, December 28 before they succumbed to the superior firepower of the police and the military.

The commissioner of Police in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, Bala Ciroma, said one of the suspects was gunned down while four others were arrested, including a staff of the bank.
