The governor of Kaduna State, Governor Nasir El-Rufai has confirmed that he has tested positive for the dreaded coronavirus also known as COVID-19.
The governor announced via a video posted on his official Twitter handle that he has gone on self-isolation as part of guidelines for an infected person.
The governor appeals to the people of Kaduna State to continue to closely observe the preventive measures already announced.
"It is most important that everybody should do their utmost to stay safe, stay home and stay alive", the governor said.
