The Senator representing Imo North Senatorial District, Senator Benjamin Uwajumogu is dead.
Senator Rochas Okorocha confirmed his death to journalists outside the National Assembly complex on Wednesday.
The late senator died in a private hospital in Apo, Abuja after he reportedly slumped in the bathroom while taking his bath.
